Garfield sits around 70km south-east of Melbourne in the Shire of Cardinia.

This quaint country town began as a railway and timber town but is now a popular residential town appealing to those who like to be near the city, but live surrounded in nature. Garfield has a close community, a small primary school and a friendly atmosphere. In the centre of town is a busy railway line with frequent trains that run between Melbourne and Traralgon. The main street has a host of shops and cafes, including a butcher, post office, milk bar, a boutique gift shop, and a number of great cafés offering a modern, fresh menu.
