New Trends with High Buyer Demand
It’s been another eventful month in March but possibly for different reasons to what you would expect. Sales numbers have been significantly down across Drouin and Warragul this month, and across the larger Baw Baw Shire compared to this time last year, and even previous months this year. This has been fuelled mostly because of the lack of listings coming to the market. However, it’s not all bad news, as buyer enquiry rates are incredibly high, open home attendance has reached new levels and general enquiry rates are significantly higher than normal.
One of the other trends we are seeing across the market place is the increase in unconditional buyers. When we talk about unconditional buyers we are talking about buyers than don’t need to attach any conditions to their contracts. They may have already sold their homes, already have finance organised and are willing to make offers on properties without any conditions which is great new for vendors as it brings a lot more clarity and certainty around negotiation.
